Yamaha´s extensive cymbal stand ranges encompass the beginner 600 series, budget 700 and professional 800 and 900 series. The 600 and 700 series have single-braced tripod bases while the 800 and 900 have double-braced tripods. All stands have large rubber feet except the CS650 and CS655 which have normal sized rubber feet.
Each series is available with or without boom arms. The CS925 has a massive bass section and extended boom arm with counter-weight to support the heaviest of cymbals.
The offset tilter is designed to fold parallel with the pipe when storing to prevent damage during transport
All the stands have Yamaha´s new offset tilter which folds back on itself for safe transport. Each tilter has two large felts and a specially moulded hard-wearing polycarbonate sleeve. The relatively small wing nut allows the cymbal bell to be played right up to the centre.
Another great Yamaha design feature is the way the boom cymbal arms can be taken out and inserted into the vertical stand housing (or tom holder). This allows even greater height adjustment and is once again perfect for transporting.
Each height adjustable stand section is secured by a large heat-treated hard steel wing nut which compresses a nylon ring bushing. The lightest turn of the wing nut holds the position securely with minimum wear on the joint.
One more new feature is the tilter mechanism for the boom arms. Precision gearing holds the angle exactly, while a memory clamp prevents the arm from rotating.
