It’s 2000 W class D amplifier bestows it with astonishing reserves of drive and authority, while it’s incredibly rigid structure provides the perfect platform for its twin, dual balanced 12 inch Aerofoil drivers.

Aerofoil For Precision Bass: The DB1D uses aerofoil cones identical to those found in the 800 series diamond. These light, ultra stiff drivers resist bending and flexing far longer than conventional cones, delivering controlled bass with outstanding precision. The DB1D features a massive 12 inch driver – the largest Aerofoil cone B&W have yet made.

Balanced Drivers: The DB1D subwoofer uses two bass cones arranged in an opposed, balanced configuration that greatly reduces cabinet vibration and insures a cleaner, more precise sound. The result: fantastic, colouration-free bass.
