The DRA-800H outputs up to 100W per channel at 8 Ohms and features five HDMI inputs and one output, all of which support 4K, HDR, and 4:4:4 color; the output also supports ARC. A USB port on the front provides direct device connectivity and audio playback.

2-Channel Discrete Amplifier
Featuring a discrete high-current power amplifier, symmetrical design, and an OFC (oxygen-free copper) winding power transformer, the DRA-800H is designed to deliver up to 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms. For compatibility with a variety of speakers, the receiver is equipped with low-impedance drive capability. An optional auto ECO mode helps reduce power consumption without sacrificing audio quality.
High-Resolution Audio
The receiver features an AKM 32-bit D/A converter that can decode up to 24-bit / 192 kHz ALAC, FLAC, and WAV lossless files, as well as DSD 2.8 MHz and 5.6 MHz tracks via the front USB port and network sources. You can also listen to other popular formats, like MP3 and WMA.
Speaker A/B and Zone 2 Pre-Out
You can connect two pairs of speakers for A/B switching. You can also extend your system to a second room and listen to a different source via the Zone 2 pre-out.
Phono Input
The onboard phono input lets you connect your turntable directly to the receiver.
Dual DAC Circuitry
The DRA-800H uses an eight-channel DAC to deliver enhanced stereo imaging and detail. By assigning two DACs per channel, including the subwoofer output, the receiver’s dynamic range and signal-to-noise ratio are augmented.
HDMI with HDCP 2.3 Compatibility
All five HDMI inputs support 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling, BT.2020 pass-through, HDR10, and HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma); full 4K Ultra HD with 60 Hz pass-through, 3D, and HDCP 2.3 compatibility is available on all five HDMI ports to support copy-protected content. Additionally, the HDMI output supports ARC, so audio that originates in apps built into your display are passed through to the receiver through the connected compatible HDMI cable.
Built-In Bluetooth & Wi-Fi
With built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, the DRA-800H is equipped with a dual-antenna transceiver system for robust streaming, even in congested urban environments, allowing you to enjoy listening to your favorite audio content wirelessly from your compatible smart devices.
Mobile Control with the Denon AVR Remote App
The Denon AVR Remote app for iOS and Android allows you to adjust the receiver’s volume, turn it on or off, mute the music, and select a source.
Smart TV Connectivity
Control the receiver with your compatible smart TV remote via the HDMI CEC functionality associated with your smart TV. Simply set “HDMI Control” to “On” in the receiver, then set “Smart Menu” to “On” and begin controlling the receiver with your TV remote. The Smart Menu home screen provides you quick access to source and surround mode selections, the receiver’s setup menu, and four Quick Selects.
Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM)
ALLM helps ensure that Xbox One users have a responsive and immersive gaming experience when connected with compatible TVs.
Quick Select Functions for Simplified Audio Tuning
The front panel features four Quick Select buttons that store your preferred audio settings for each source. Switch between TV audio, Blu-ray, media players, and more – and the receiver adjusts the EQ settings to your preferences for that media source. Use the buttons on the front panel or opt for the same Quick Selects on the remote for faster control.
