Description

Enjoy enhanced stereo sound with your favorite pair of speakers and the black Yamaha A-S3200 Stereo 200W Integrated Amplifier. It outputs up to 100W per channel at 8 ohms and features an MM/MC phono input and two balanced XLR stereo pairs in addition to its five stereo RCA inputs. A 1/4″ headphone jack with discrete amplification enables private listening. The A-S3200 includes a remote control as an added convenience.

Features

Toroidal Transformer

The toroidal transformer in the A-S3200 is designed to provide technical proficiency and musicality. With less flux leakage, there is no negative impact on other sensitive audio circuits. Copper wire is directly drawn from the winded core to help minimize energy loss, allowing the full emotional energy in your music to be expressed.

High Quality Component Selection

The PC-Triple C speaker wire is designed with a more linear structure to allow for smoother signal transmission to more accurately present the original music recording. High quality capacitors are also used for an authentic musical sound.

Dedicated Phono Amp

The phono amp is comprised of an MC head amp and an equalizer amp, each of which are discretely configured to help achieve a rich sound with pronounced musicality when playing vinyl records through either an MC or MM cartridge.

Low Impedance Design

Using the low impedance design concept helps minimize energy loss while maintaining integrity in the audio signal to help produce an open, natural soundstage.

Brass Screws and Copper Terminals for Block Capacitors

Using brass screws and oxygen-free copper terminals for the block capacitors helps to deliver additional headroom available in the four 22,000 μF capacitors to produce an open soundstage.

Fully Balanced Circuitry from Input to Speaker

The fully balanced circuitry design helps the amplifier deliver a low signal-to-noise ratio for virtually perfect silence gaps in your music and moments between movements. This design also enhances channel separation to produce a soundstage that almost makes the system disappear, making you feel more like you’re at a live performance.

Pure Brass Speaker Terminals

Cut directly from pure brass, the speaker terminals are designed to comfortably fit in your hand for simple tightening to provide a secure connection.

Mechanical Ground Concept

The A-S3200 adopts a Mechanical Ground Concept, with the bolts of the feet welded directly to the main chassis, and the large heat sink, power transformer, and block capacitors bolted directly to the chassis. This design helps maximize rigidity and avoid unwanted vibration to achieve expressive and rhythmic bass, presenting you with the groove of the music. The A-S3200 also has a Rigid Streamlined Construction to further suppress vibration.

Chrome-Plated Pinpoint Brass

Completing the rigidity of the amplifier are the brass feet that can be used with either spikes or a scratch-resistant base for delicate surfaces.

Front-Panel Switches

Use of the switches and knobs serve as a connection between you and the engineer, providing a tactile surface reflecting the meticulous nature of the engineers.

Level Meters

The level meters are both a nod to the nostalgic era of hi-fi and demonstrate the return of pure hi-fi for today’s enthusiasts. Visually presenting the dynamics and pulse of the music, the level meters are designed to provide a warm feeling through their softly illuminated LEDs. The glass window is cut diagonally and precision-fit to the back surface of the front panel, leaving no gaps or screws for connection.
